At Transylvania Harmony, we believe a guest’s trust begins long before they arrive. This page explains, plainly and without small print, what happens to the personal information you share with us through this website.

Who we are

Transylvania Harmony is a boutique travel agency crafting regenerative journeys through Transylvania, Maramureș and Bucovina, Romania.

Data controller: TRANSYLVANIA HARMONY TRAVEL S.R.L., Str. Comana nr. 71, Hălmeag, comuna Șercaia, Brașov County, Romania. Trade Registry no. J2025051126008 | CUI 52139380. Contact: travel@transylvaniaharmony.com | +40 745 137 676

What we collect, and why

When you write to us through the Speak to Us form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send us. We use this information for one purpose only: to respond to your inquiry and, if you choose to travel with us, to plan your journey.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox before sending the form, and — once we begin planning a journey together — the performance of our agreement with you.

When you browse the website, our hosting platform collects standard, anonymized technical data (such as aggregate page views) that does not identify you personally. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising unless you have explicitly accepted them through the cookie notice.

We never collect more than we need, and we never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where your information lives

Your form submissions are processed and stored by:

  • Framer B.V. (Netherlands) — the platform that hosts this website and receives form submissions within the European Union.

  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace) — the provider of our email service, where your message arrives and where our correspondence with you is kept.

Both providers process data within the framework of the GDPR and act as data processors on our behalf.

How long we keep it

If your inquiry does not lead to a journey with us, we delete your correspondence within 24 months. If you travel with us, we keep the records we are legally required to hold (such as invoicing information) for the periods set by Romanian law, and nothing longer.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct or delete it;

  • withdraw your consent at any time;

  • ask us to restrict or object to its processing;

  • receive your data in a portable format;

  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, simply write to us at travel@transylvaniaharmony.com. We will respond within 30 days.

The supervisory authority for Romania is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP) — www.dataprotection.ro.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated clearly, not buried.

Questions about any of this? Write to us at travel@transylvaniaharmony.com — a person, not a system, will answer.
